Best exhibitors of Job Fair ŠANCE 10/2022

Another Job Fair ŠANCE successfully behind us and again we bring you something new this year. During the autumn Fair ŠANCE, participants had the option to fill out a short survey regarding in their opinion the exhibiting company that appealed to them the most. That company then becomes the „Best Exhibitor“ of that day of the fair.

The survey was anonymous and the participants could therefore honestly express their opinions and observations. The survey included five questions and an option to add further notes of their personal impressions of and experience with the company as well as with the fair itself. The survey was also available in English.

The structure of the survey was al follows:

  1. State name of the company that appealed to you the most.
  2. Evaluate the display of the stall.
  3. Evaluate the impression when visiting the stall.
  4. Describe how helpful the exhibitor staff at the stall were.
  5. List the job positions  that were offered by the company.
  6. Notes

And now we present to you the winners of this year’s competition for the best exhibiting company/institution of the autumn fair ŠANCE 2022, that took place 18.-20. 10. 2022.

The highest score each day was received by the following companies:

  • Tuesday 18. 10. 2022: Merkle
  • Wednesday 19. 10. 2022: L’Oréal
  • Thursday 20. 10. 2022: PwC
Tuesday

On the first day of the fair, Merkle became the „Best Exhibitor“. Congratulations!

Their visitors appreciated the nice and helpful approach as well as receiving tips and tricks about how to continue their career growth. The display of the stall received from an overwhelming majority the highest grade of 10/10. The Merkle company also offered attractive job positions for both full and part-timers including internships. Some of the positions offered were data analyst, financial accountant, designer and more.

In second place was IKEA Czech Republic and in third ŠKODA AUTO. Congratulations!

Wednesday

On Wednesday, the second day of the fair, L’Oréal won by a large margin. Congratulations!

Their visitors rated the overall approach of the company positively. Sharing information, answering questions and distributing samples with a smile was apparently flawless. The visitors also appreciated the creative idea of a „fortune wheel“. Another hit was the fact that L’Oréal actively approached students outside the stall. Many positions          both full and part-time were offered including internships. The job positions offered included a wide array  of departments such as marketing, HR, finance and sales.

In second place was Moore Czech Republic and in third ČSOB Insurance Company. Congratulations!

Thursday

On the third day of the fair, PwC won. Their visitors greatly appreciated the „drinks“ prepared for them as well as clover seedlings distributed. These were repeatedly brought up as great ideas that caught attention. The company was represented by very nice and friendly exhibitors who created a relaxed feel of the stall. The stall was also regarded as visually interesting.

In second place was BAT (British American Tobacco) and in third Procter & Gamble. Congratulations!


In conclusion, we would like to thank all the companies for providing the students of Prague University of Economics and business with such a great opportunity to learn about not only the company itself, but also its representatives and offered positions. We thank all visitors for great turnout and active participation and communication with the companies during the event.
